We think this is a revolutionary concept. MONFORTE RENAISSANCE 2010 is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to affect directly the politics of food in Ontario. By participating, you’re helping establish a business model that should spearhead meaningful growth in micro-production, making it a more viable way of life for farmers and shepherds while providing consumers with higher quality products. If we can make this work – and we’re confident we can – RENAISSANCE 2010 might just open the door to a new day for farmers and consumers alike.
Like other COMMUNITY SHARED AGRICULTURE (CSA) plans, a subscription entails a prepayment in return for future delivery of product. Participate in Monforte Renaissance 2010 by choosing from one of our three Subscription Plans.
Your subscription cheque pre-paid dollars will help plant the seeds of a new Monforte dairy and your cheese will be made available over five years once the new dairy is open.
Here’s our proposition:

• Become a part of the Monforte community by tracking progress on our blog and attending periodic MONFORTE TOWN HALL MEETINGS where you can help guide Monforte’s evolution
• Receive an invitation to the MONFORTE RENAISSANCE 2010 GRAND OPENING HOOTENANNY, slated for January 2, 2010. This is gonna be a good old fashioned all-day smack-down of great music, remarkable local food and no-strings-attached fun to celebrate the restart of cheese production as well as a victory for farmers, producers and Monforte aficionados!

VOUCHERS: receive cheese vouchers to exchange for cheese at markets, or at the dairy over a five year period
or BASKETS: receive cheese baskets delivered to you twice a year for five years
